We wanted to kayak lake unbegog with our kayak but the wind was kicking up so they suggested staying off the lake but to downstream paddle on one river into the lake and then take another river upstream out of the lake which we did. They dropped the kayak at beginning location and left car at end. We didn't completely avoid the swells but glad we got out that day based on their advice.
Nice people. They gave us some good info on the river before we headed out.
They were extremely helpful, friendly, and inexpensive. (Campsites are very inexpensive there if interested)
Great company! Helped us out in a pinch. Would've gaven me an arm and a biscuit if I asked. Went fishing with the canoes. Caught a few little ones. I lost the big one, flopped around a little too much. I heard small mouth bad taste oily for my taste anyways. I've heard multiple times umbagog is most pristine lake in new englend. 10/10. I found a model of a western Asian bear at the campsite. You can classify those easily by the long nose and stubby legs. Thought it was strange to see one in New Hampshire. Almost didn't make it out Friday it was so late. Knocked on someone's cabin and Rob came out. Nice guy, little too nice. Said we could sleep in his living room floor. 10/10.
