Stunning view of the lake. Impeccable campground!

Beautiful lake, gorgeous remote sites. The park has weird rules about firewood: saying you can't gather and burn wood, and have to buy firewood from the park for 1$ per log... Fat Chance.

Nice campground, the lake is gorgeous. Facilities are dated and park is in a very remote location--be prepared to lose service (could be a good thing...) had to use a pay phone during our stay. FYI park charges $10 per day for extra adults only two allowed per site.

Great weather this past weekend. I'm curious what were the 1000's of flying ants or termites that erupted from the ground and our firepit in site R-32? It was dramatic on Sunday night. We got to watch spiders catching them as they came out of the nests that litter the campsite.

Great smallmouth bass fishing!
